Senior Woodwork
I recently received an email with info that OC Trades has put together a video tour of there trades programs. Might be something you may want to look at.
Tour
There is also some cool stuff on skillsready .ca. You can poke around there but there is some cool project ideas and activities in the distance learning section.
If your struggling for journal topics you could add in something you learned form these two resources.
Alright, I finally have it together, the journal google slide that I would like for you to complete every 2 weeks. All the instructions are in the slides. You will continue to add to this as the weeks roll on. It will end up being one document full of all your info. Once you have the link open, save the file as your name and woodwork journal. ex. Tyler Russell Woodwork Journal. This will make it easy for me to keep track of them all. Once every two weeks you will post your file to teams for me to look at. (more to come on how to do this).

The team name is VSS Senior woodwork and you should have received an email. Follow the instructions in that email. Look forward to communicating with you on Teams!
I have chosen to use Microsoft Teams as the resource to connect with you. We will be able to live chat, video conference and share files. I am hoping that some of you are already on Teams for one of your other classes, as I know many teachers are using it. If you are not singed up, I have posted a link here giving you info on how to get teams and get logged in. TEAMS Here is the info for your login and password:

I am looking at a few different apps that will allow me to video chat with you on a individual or in a small group to help you with your projects. This is a slow process but I'm hoping to have something working next week. With that said, hold onto your questions and I will hopefully chat with you next week. Thanks for your patience!
The focus for this week is to collect your project from the school, figure out what is left to do on your project and create a list of questions that you might have regarding your project. Don't worry if you can't proceed due to lack of tools! I will keep you updated. I am working on an avenue of video communication so I can assist you.
