Welcome to
Hello and welcome to my new webpage! I am hoping this will be one step in keeping the information flowing. Right now I have the bare bones on each page but I will be adding all the time. I hope to post project plans, photos of student work, topics that you can research, video tutorials, and more. I hope that if students are checking the website on a weekly basis we can really cut down on emails. Please check your grade level page for information that matters to you. This will be a slow process so I thank-you in advance for your patience in these crazy times!

For all Woodworking students: 3D Printing
As most of you are aware we have a 3D printer in the woodshop. It is a great way to take your 2D drawings and start to think about them in 3 dimensions. It's an important skill in woodwork to think and see in 3D. Tinkercad is a very user friendly web based software that you can use to learn 3D printing. They have great, easy to follow tutorials to get you started. Once we are back at school we could look at printing some of your creations!

For all Woodworking students: Measurement
As you know you can't build without being able to measure quickly and accurately. What is a better time than now to become measuring experts! Play the ruler game at least once a day and you will come back to the shop ready to build faster and more accurately. Challenge the people around you to beat your high score!!

Woodworking is one third planning, one third execution, and one third figuring out how to change your plan to cover up that mistake that you just made during execution.
